Windows 10: Im having a Repair C drive Errors.

Hello.


I need help cuz im freaking out..........


Im having this issue where if I restart my pc or shutdown, later to open it... i get a C drive error and repair windows screen. Before this I received no error but small-ish sync resolution buggs where my extended monitors where either off, g-sync broken or something with the resolution is busted so requires a fresh restart. This still happens and its been happening more and more assuming that I updated the Windows and Nvadia too earlier.


I tried to look up to fix this error and found this in my control panel.

I clicked the Restart but it restarts, tells me the same error and then continues to be toggled.


Possible reasons?

I turn off the power strip @ night after myt computer is completely shutdown. I have a electromagnetic sensitivity so it helps me sleep with the noise and lights.


I downloaded Minecraft Dungeons. i played a little... didnt really like it so I stopped but didnt delete it.... I have a SSD and I heard they where having a SSD problem with uninstal... now an SSD problem for installing?


Please any helpful response could save my worth value and prob my life potential at this point.

The part of process that you are in when updating Windows is the check disk (CHKDSK), the system is checking your drive for errors.

Are you still having the issue and stuck at Scanning and repairing drive process?

As a workaround, you can follow these steps to bypass the CHKDSK process:

• Hold down the power button for 4 seconds.
• The PC will reboot.
• You will get stuck again on the process, repeat step 1.
• You will get a message "press any key to bypass the chkdsk."
• Press any key and it will continue on the update process.

Unable to prompt in c: after an automatic repair. Any ideas ?

Hi all,

After a failed automatic repair, i tried to prompt in c: but i got a I/O message error.

I can prompt in D: or E: (or others) but not in C:

I try to restore a Windows 10 family ed. or at least to access the users documents folder to back up on an usb drive.

I'm lost (in paradise of windows automatic repair). So if someone have an idea or any "step by step" suggestion to solve my problem, i will be always grateful.

Stuck at repairing disc errors and repairing C: Drive

My laptop is stuck between repairing disk errors this may take an hour and scanning/repairing C: drive which always stops at 30%. Im unable to boot it in safe mode (what ive tried doesnt work at least), I do not have a Windows 10 installation disc either.
What should I do? If it comes to where i need to go back to a "recovery point" how should I go about that when/if I can't get to safe mode? Prior to this I had no serious trouble, no crashing or glitching, just a bit slow.
