Windows 10 and MSI afterburner + battle.net desktop app crash

I've noticed that If I have MSI afterburner 4.1.1 running and try and run Battle.net desktop app to play a game Battle.net will crash. If I close down msi afterburner it loads fine and runs. This is on win10pro x64 and an upgrade install from win 7 pro.
I've tried disabling the riva tuner 64bit option and it still crashes it.

There seems to be a conflict in win10 between battle.net and msi afterburner or riva tuner.

I have discovered that MSI Afterburner 4.1.1 causes a conflict with d3d9.dll which is a file that is used for the Direct X 9.0, I have found quite a few games that will not run on my machine, Including... The Sims 3 and 4, Diablo 3, along with most STEAM
and (EA) ORIGIN games. This is a SERIOUS problem as My MSI HAWK R7870 Video card will not overclock or cool properly without this app running.

After Updating from windows 7 home to windows 10, almost all my games didn't work, Except Tomb Raider which is a Direct X 11 game. I checked the event viewer and noticed critical errors. Each error coming from a diffrent game I tried to launch and all having
the same fault in d3d9.dll. after searching the internet for days trying to find an answer, I stumbled on another user that was having a similar problem, except with nvida card and the overclocking software that they were using.

I closed my MSI Afterburner software and tried The Sims 3... Worked Perfectly, Next, Diablo 3... No Problems.

I made sure my graphics card drivers are up to date and I am using the most current version of Afterburner.

I have tried random setting changes and nothing seems to help.

Any Idea how to get around this problem would be greatly appreciated as Uninstalling MSI Afterburner is really not an option.

I made some color changes to the MSI Gaming Afterburner skin by Drerex Design by uncompiling the original and using Gimp to change the 83 png picture files for the UI, and making hex value changes in the header file(instruction on how to do it is included with afterburner as a PDF written by @Unwinder here:




I originally posted the first one in the Hardware thread, but it really belongs here, so:

1. download it,
   
2. right click and unblock in properties,
   
3. unzip it,
   
4. then copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Skins
   
5. Open Afterburner, and select it.
