Windows 10: I'm having an error issue and I can't access certain applications when clicking on them.

Hi there, I would like to have some help regarding issues relating to the operating system, Mircosoft 10. I have received this error attached as an image below. Whenever I tried to access certain applications and software like "Settings" by click on it, it doesn't do anything. No matter how many times I've clicked on it, nothing happens. I would like some help on this matter please. I've tried calling the customer service number, but it redirected me to this website. If someone could help me fix my problem, I would appreicate it. Thank you.

have you tried nj's advice:

Go to the application (don’t open it).

Click OPTIONS

Choose APPLICATION ACCESS

Choose DATA ACCESS

Choose ADD EDIT DATA

Then set it to “ask every time”

on the other hand, some operators like T-mobile cribble their branded phones not to run certain apps, and this gives such an error, and the only way around it is to pay them to unlock the phone.

• As I understand you are unable to access certain websites, what websites are you not able to access?
• Have you logged in with a Microsoft account or a local account?

I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

• Network troubleshooter. Either search for it in the Search or run it by following the link below.

• Try a different network adapter/connection type if possible.
• Check for Windows Updates.
• Check for drivers for the network adapter.
• Open a CMD window as Administrator:
  • dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
  • sfc /scannow
  • netsh winsock reset

Also try to restart the DNS service.

• Press Windows Logo Key+X. Click on Run.
• Type services.msc. Click on Ok.
• Then find DNS client. Right-click on it to Stop it and Restart it.

Unable to access applications

• What is the exact error message are you getting?
• What other apps that are not accessible aside from iTunes?
• Can you provide as a screenshot of the latest update history?

To view the update history on your computer, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows key+i and then select Update & security.
• Under UPDATE & SECURITY, click Advanced options.
• Under ADVANCED OPTIONS, select View your update history.
