    I bought a new PC about 3 months ago, everything is new. I mostly use it to play games and some 3D modeling but sometimes when I'm playing games they randomly crash or it just goes to a BSOD and I keep getting all these different ones, so far I've got:-SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION-MEMORY_MANAGEMENT Haven't got this one in a while-FAULTY_HARDWARE_CORRUPTED_PAGE Most common one-UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION Literally got it like 30mins ago-SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED What failed: Ntfs.sys I just got this one while writing this postSometimes I get like 3 in a row and sometimes I don't ge

    7 different BSoD

    Hey guys,

    I have a serious problem. I make it as short as possible:

    • system runs 100 % fine with the 10.12
    • updatet to Catalyst 11.1 -> BSoD
    • updatet to 11.1 Hotfix -> BSoD
    • rollback to 10.12 -> BSoD
    • removed ALL AMD files manually, installed 10.12 -> BSoD
    • Temps are fine
    • no sfc /scannow errors
    • no chkdsk errors
    • Prime, Furmark all fine
    • regardless what driver I install -> BSoD
    • I did no hw changes, no OC
    Here are my BSoDs I receive:
    • 0x0000010e
    • 0x1000007e
    • 0x0000007e
    • 0x0000004e
    • 0x0000003b
    • dxgmms1.sys
    • PFN_LIST_CORRUPT
    They all refer to the GPU of course ...

    From now on I receive a BSoD every time I try to play a game (especially BC2 and SC II) even if I completely remove the old driver and make a clean install.
    Apparently the 11.1 damaged my system irreparable.

    Any advice or info would be very much appreciated *Smile I'm having different BSOD very frequently :)

  3. I have been having BSOD frequently

    Hi James

    Can you try the suggestion in step 2.

    The games should still run with those items disabled and will allow you to check for a BSOD again.

    Thanks

    Frequent BSOD

    I am frequently facing an "Unexpected Kernel Mode Trap" BSOD. Tried to follow the different troubleshooting steps but the BSOD error reoccurs before any of them can finish. I was however able to run Memory Diagnostics and there is no issue with the RAM. Kindly help!
