Windows 10: I’m having problems on conecting brand new laptop and brand new windows on Wi-Fi.

So, today I went and I bought a Hp Omen Gaming laptop with Windows 10 pro.While installing it, it was required to connect it to an Ethernet cable but I didn’t have the physical cable so I skipped thinking that I would connect it to Wi-Fi later. But after the install I can’t find anywhere the Wi-Fi icon. I tried every method that I could find on the internet but I didn’t succeed. Please help me.

brand new lap top battery

I ran the troubleshoot power option and it said “Display brightness setting is too high”

but it’s a brand new laptop, i should think I could expect the most from it.

I haven’t tried the next steps uou have suggested yet.

 

Brand New laptop

It only takes one mistake, even on a brand new laptop. Been there.

If the laptop is brand new, you have little to lose by doing a factory reset, following the manufacturer's instructions. That will return the laptop to the way it was when it left the factory.

I learned (the hard way) that you shouldn't do anything to a computer, even if it seems completely obvious to
me you, without checking for instructions.

If your brand new laptop won't turn on without plugging the power adapter, then it only means that the battery is defective. Since it's a brand new laptop, and it's under warranty, it's best that you contact the device manufacturer to have the defective
part replaced.
