    I'm having problems opening up Virus and Threat Detection in Security


    Hello, when I click on Virus and Threat Detection in Security this window pops up. Error message opens up, it says: Your IT Administrator has limited access to some areas of this app, and the item you tried to access is not available. Contact IT helpdesk for more information. Also, it won't let me insert an image of the problem. I've already tried resetting windows completely, deleting disk drives and using a usb stick to create new media. I'm not sure if I have the correct iteration of Windows 11. How do I fix this?System Information report written at: 06/20/23 2

    how to view exempted files from threat detection in windows security?

    I have latest windows security version on windows 11.

    I am unable to view the list of files that I have exempted from threat detection in past .

    How to bring some of those files again in threat list?

    Windows Security Virus & Threat Protection Settings "managed by your administrator"

    Hi Nikhar,

    Thank you so much for replying. I followed your steps but this hasn't solved the problem - still no virus and threat protection. The registry value was 3, and I changed it to 2 as you suggested. Should I change it back?

    Any other suggestions?
