Windows 10: I'm having trouble deleting a folder

I'm having trouble deleting a corrupted folder on my external drive.Whenever I try deleting it, it just won't.I do the classical way of deleting files: by just dragging them in the bin, but it just won't delete.There's no error message, just the folder that doesn't want to delete itself.I tried every way to delete it: classic way, deleting it in safe mode... I even tried third part apps to try and delete it, but it just won't work.Any help?

Thanks for the suggestion but it says "delete folder failed for E:\....." for each folder I try.

Download norton commander for windows and try it. I`m using it for deleting those autorun.inf virus files that stuck to the USB drives or second non system partition. If no file is used from windows folder NC should erase it easy. And there is Hiren`s boot disk that you can download it is bootable and has volkov commander on it similar to NC and it runs in DOS and it will delete windows folder 100%. Or you can make USB stick bootable and use deltree command.

Maybe if you have a spare drive, you can install a temporary winXP or win2000 and delete the offending folder from there?
