    I'm having trouble playing Minecraft Dungeons after downloading it for the first time


    I've recently bought Minecraft Dungeons on the Minecraft website. After trying to launch it for the first time, I got this error message "If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game". I've tried relaunching the game twenty times and I've never owned an Xbox Game Pass. The terms of the purchase never stated that a subscription is required to play. Please help.

    Minecraft Dungeons Online play

    Hello I'm having trouble playing Minecraft Dungeons after downloading it for the first time :)

    When I try to "Play Online" when playing Minecraft Dungeons I get a message that says "To play MD online, you must sign in to your Microsoft Account. Would you like to sign in now?"

    I press A to sign in and I get another message that says "Unable to connect to the Minecraft Dungeons service. Please try later."

    This has been happening for 2+ weeks.

    Any suggestions?

    As we seem to get a lot of Minecraft fans who post question in this forum, I thought to share the announcement that was posted by Xbox.

    Mojang has released Minecraft Dungeons which is available for you to download, for free, if you have the Xbox Game Pass

    If you have not got the Game Pass, then you can still purchase the game from the marketplace:
