I'm having trouble with connecting my HP laptop to my LG TV via Wi-Fi Direct. I have my laptop discoverable and on the same network as my TV but it doesn't show up as an option to select.

Connecting LG smart TV to Windows 10 pc using WiFi direct

I'm having trouble connecting my LG Smart TV to a windows 10 laptop. When I go to Settings>Bluetooth and other devices I can see the TV in question listed under other devices with a note underneath "not connected". When I go to settings>wifi direct
on the TV it doesn't see the laptop. Any suggestions?

 

Issue while connecting using Wi-Fi direct

Thank you very much for your help Geethu. I have downloaded and installed new network driver as you suggested and I still can't find my TV in the list of available networks. I have never used Wi-Fi Direct so I don't know if I'm even looking in the right
place. The laptop is a Lenovo Yoga 2 that was upgraded from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10.

When I turn Wi-Fi Direct mode on in the Sony Bravia TV, a screen prompts me to enter the SSID and Password in to the device (computer) I'm trying to connect. But in the computer the TV doesn't appear as a device that I can connect to. What am I doing wrong?
