Windows 10: I'm having trouble with my Sound, video and game controllers drivers how to solve it?

Hey everyone, it's Davis. I'm having some tech troubles and could really use some help. First off, my volume control is acting up. No matter what I do, it stays stuck at 100%, even when I try to lower it. And whenever I attempt to update, uninstall, or roll back, boom—blue screen of death. Also, my laptop's mic suddenly stopped working. People can't hear me during calls or voice recordings. Lastly, my external hard drive seems fine, but whenever I try to update drivers, it throws up errors. Any tips on fixing these without triggering another blue screen?

All you have to do is update the sound driver to solve this issue.

To solve it, here are the steps:

1. 1. Click on the Start menu and type in Device Manager.
2. 2. Search for Sound, video, and game controllers.
3. 3. Double-click on the audio entry and switch over to the Driver tab.
4. 4. Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

 

No sound from speakers after upgrading to Windows 10.

Update all your audio drivers.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

• 
  Press Windows key + R key. Type "devmgmt.msc" and click Enter.
  
• 
  Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
  
• 
  Double-click on the Sound card.
  
• 
  In Properties, go to Drivers Tab and click on Update.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

If this does not work you might have to Uninstall and then reinstall your drivers in compatibility mode.

Follow the steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver.

  Expand the Sound, Video and game controllers.
