I'm just Speechless at this point

I'm back. In September I posted about the latest NIC drivers that come in Windows update not letting me access the internet. The computer, an Alienware M18 R2 was brand new at the time. Since September the computer has basically sat and served as a $3,000 coaster due to the constant crashing since day 2 out of the box. So yesterday, I figured, maybe enough time has passed that updates will work. I did fresh install, downloaded all the Windows updates, went to Nvidia, downloaded the latest graphics card driver, updated bios through Dell drivers etc.I wanted to slowly test things so I only down

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

how to manage return points and how to unpersonalize windows search function

    Hi Alifolie,

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

It sounds like you have a couple of issues with your Windows 11 system. Let me address your questions step by step:

    1. Managing Return Points:
      • Recovery points in Windows are created to provide a way to roll back your system to a previous state in case of issues. To manage recovery points, you can follow these steps:
        • Type "Create a recovery drive" in the search bar and open the corresponding system settings.
        • From there, you can create a recovery drive or access System Restore to manage existing recovery points.
    2. Depersonalizing Windows Search:
      • To depersonalize the Windows search function, you can try the following steps:
        • Go to Settings > Privacy & security > Search and uncheck any options related to personalized results.
        • Additionally, you can clear your search history and disable online search suggestions to further depersonalize the search function.
On the first question if my understanding is wrong please feel free to ask.

As for managing recovery points saved in your Microsoft account, it's worth noting that Windows backups and recovery points are usually stored locally on your device rather than in your Microsoft account. However, you can use OneDrive for cloud-based file backup and recovery, but it's not directly related to system recovery points.

Thank you for your patience and understanding, if you have any questions, please feel free to leave us a message.

    Best regards
