I'm locked out of my laptop pin disabled. It suggests using another sign in option but doesn't give me any other options. How do I sign in?

Disable Sign In PIN

Hi I'm Peter an independent advisor, if you want to disable Windows 10 PIN sign in option, you can do it in this way.

Step 1: Press Windows and R key on the keyboard and enter gpedit.msc on Run open box. Then, press Enter or click the OK button to access Local Group Policy Editor.

Step 2: In this interface, access Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Systems > Logon > Turn on PIN sign-in.

Step 3: Double click Turn on PIN sign-in, and set this option to Disabled. Then click OK and Apply button. After that, the PIN sign in option is disabled.

 

Remove sign in pin

I suggest you to follow the below steps to remove the sign in pin/password options.

• In the search box type sign-in-option.
• Click on the sign-in-option.
• Then you can find password/pin/picture password.
• There you can remove the option and check.

When creating a fingerprint sign-in option, you are required to create a PIN. The problem is that PIN codes are not as secure as a password and can possible be hacked. Luckily PINs are not restricted to a character limit. I still feel insecure about having

I have a finger print scanner and I felt like it was time to set it up again. What I'm asking for is a way to control what sign-in methods are allowed on my device such as disabling PIN code sign-in option. Removing the PIN entirely disables Windows Hello
which is what the fingerprint system runs on.

Basically, I can ether have both a PIN and a fingerprint, or I can have only a password.
