Windows 10: I'm locked out of my Windows11 laptop.

I'm locked out of my Windows11 laptop. I thought it was playing up, so I made the mistake of resetting it. Now I can not access the internet on it. It was a WiFi problem. Now I'm back on my old Windows8.1. I'm 84yrs old, living on my own and taught myself to use these devices, so I can be in contact with the outside world. I'm not exactly computer literate! I'm in France and my previous helpers are now in L A and Australia! I need simple instructions, without computer jargon, to get me back online. Help please!

Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

 

Windows11 Device Manager does not respond to ANT+ USB-m device plugged into USB ports.

I have a Levono X64 system laptop running Windows 11. I have a GARMIN USB-m stick which works in my partners laptop (also running Windows 11) and also works in my old laptop running Windows 10.
When I plug the USB-m stick into either of the 2 available USB-3 slots, the device does not appear on "Device Manager".
I can see that all the relevant drivers are installed.
From the above information it is evident that the problem is not with the USB-m device as it works in other machines. This might suggest that the USB port/slot is not working properly however, plugging other devices (USB Memory Sticks, iPhone, Garmin watch data/charging cable etc into these USB slots these devices are instantly seen on Device Manager and work correctly. Levono support therefore have agreed this is not a hardware issue and is a software problem. The recommended I seek assistance from you.
Also, I have tried a friend's identical GARMIN USB-m stick in my laptop which works in his Windows11 laptop, but I still have the same problem when this device is put into my laptop. Also, my USB-m works in his laptop.

Have you come across this anomaly before and is there any help you can give me?
