I’m lost with OneDrive. I don’t know what’s syncing. My phone/tablet are connected but not shown, and my SSD has duplicate desktops/docs. Afraid to touch anything—help!I've been asking chat questions and doing changes now realizing just how deep into the local cow depository I've ventured. I'd happily take any helpful advice...clearly I'm a bit dim so would appreciate nothing vague cause I just might burn all my bridges before Xmas making any further changes on my own. Windows phone 8.1 calendar and contacts birthday don`t sync

Yes, of course (to both questions). I suspect that the problem is due to the slow syncing process (I don`t know why it is so slow). I say that because the random contact I created yesterday appeared in my calendar when I connected to the wi-fi (today!);
but when I deleted it, it didn`t disappear not even now (after 5 hours from the last time I connected my phone to the wi-fi), although I tapped the sync button from my default account several times. Maybe tomorrow it will disappear

Is there any explanation for why this syncing process is so slow?

 

Things to do once connected new G-Sync monitor

I'm getting my G-Sync monitor today.

I think I have to take the following steps:

• Connect 1440p G-sync monitor with DP cable
• Connect second 1080p 60Hz monitor by HDMI
• Startup PC
• Reinstall display driver
• Restart PC (I always do that after display driver install)
• Activate G-Sync in NV control panel (I believe also V-Sync is auto on after that?)
• Set my 1440p monitor from 1080p to 1440p
• Calibrate my 1440p monitor

Also ingame, I should turn off V-Sync?
Are there any problems running a second 60Hz 1080p monitor?

Is there anything else I should do/know?

That is really strange. And you have no other computers/tablets/phone syncing either? I don't know what else to suggest, as I don't use OneDrive that much, so not really familiar with it. But I agree it is an oddball you've encountered!
