Windows 10: (IM NEW)newly built pc (ryzen 3 1300x 1060 3gb)micro stuttering

just built my new ryzen 3 1300x with gtx 1060 3gb(8gb ram) im getting really bad micro stuttering no matter
(and yes all newest drivers are installed)what settings i play on these are the games affected
overwatch 60+fps on epic quality and drops to 20-30 fps (even on low settings this happens)
battlefield 1 medium settings 60+fps drops to 20-30 same on lower settings
now csgo doesnt drop fps but its kinda low fps for 1060(150-200 fps on dust2)1080p fullscreen windowed as when i play in anygame in fullscreen it feels very low fps but i get the same on the fps counter so i play in fullscreen windowed

Windows 10 BSOD STYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION amdxhc31.sys

Hi,

Recently got a new PC, and have started getting regular BSOD with the stop code SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION saying amdxhc31.sys has failed.

They happen both when the PC is being used and when I am away from it, and my graphics card drivers are all up to date.

Here are the 3 dump files from my minidump folder.

My system specs:

AMD Ryzen 3 1300X

8GB

3GB EVGA GeForce GTX 1060

Windows 10 micro stuttering in games.

I'm having issues with windows 10 playing games, I get micro stutter in Counter Strike Global Offensive, BeamNG.drive, Rocket league, in all my games, the framerate is good, the micro stutter seems to fade way a little after I disabled windows defender
and installed another anti virus, but It's still there, specially playing online, could someone please help me finding a solution. My motherboard is asus prime b350 plus, ryzen 1600x, gpu evga gtx 1060 3gb supercloked, ram 8gb ballistix sport ddr4, cooler
corsair h60, I have updated the bios to the 0806 version.

 

My first step would be to see if there are any other processes that are hogging CPU time and spiking the CPU usage when you play these games. Open your task manager, then play a game for like 5 minutes or so, or until you see tha stutter happen. Exit the game and look at the graph under CPU to see if there are spikes in the usage before and during when the stutter happens.

 

hi played battlefield 1 for 20ish mins
cpu 99% no spikes in graph also ram is 99%

 

but just cause 3 is a different story..



dropping to 11 fps at times

 

gta v also seems to do the samething after 5-10 mins of smooth-ness it starts to spike and reduce fps from 70-80 to 30

 

also when playing games it doesnt seem to go low fps also things like dialog cut out and freeze

 

and it doesnt seem to be a heat issue

 

I was looking at the game specs and for the most part you meet the minimum requirements but fall short on some of the recommended requirements. I would look at the game specs a bit more closely. Since the Ryzen series was released, I've not seen much on game specs for those CPU's.

Next thing I would look at is; what kind of cooling do your have for your system. Sometimes when a system is not adequately cooled, especially the CPU, you can see this types of glitches. Also, check your monitor cables, make sure they are fully connected and properly seated. If you're using an adapter of some kind, these to can cause those types of glitches.

 

yes the highest i have ever seen is 60 on the cpu and 70 on the gpu
also i had a look in the bios and the bios said my verison was old so i went onto msi site and downloaded the newest bios update installed fine no errors but when i look in my bios it has the same old verison
oh and also my monitor is not the best its a 32inch 1080p hitachi tv(yes in gamemode) no adaptors im using hdmi
and all gpu drivers are up to date i dont know if this matters but this was upgraded from w7

That may be some/part/all of the issue........BIOS update corruption. How did you install the BIOS update....manually or with in windows from MSI BIOS updater?

 

Yes....integral part of your mobo drivers

 

What does your device manager look like....any yellow triangles showing?
