Windows 10: I’m new to windows and computers in general got any tips?

Last Christmas my mom got me a gaming laptop (it’s all I had room for so don’t make fun of me) and the day I got it I almost destroyed it with viruses and was really put off by how confusing it was. I want to start uploading videos editing streaming and gaming on pc but I don’t know where to start and how to learn about pcs and I can’t justify just letting my 800$ laptop sit and collect dust. If you guys have any tips or links on where to get started it would mean a lot and thanks so much in advance.

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

M-Audio M-Track 2x2 Not Recognized by my computer.

We appreciate the research and troubleshooting you have done, this issue could be from the software end or from the hardware itself.



Please try few of the troubleshooting below to further eliminate the root cause of the issue.

1. Try to connect the device with a different USB and check if that helps.
   
2. Connect the M-track to different computer and check if you still face the issue there, if the issue persists, it could be caused by hardware.
   

Method 1:

1. Press Windows + R key on your keyboard together, and type
   control printers.
   
2. You will see list of all the devices and printers connected to your computer.
   
3. Click on Add a device and follow the onscreen instruction and add your device.
   

Method 2:

1. Uninstall
   all the M-Track drivers from device manager.
   
2. Reboot the computer and check.
   

Method 3:



I suggest you login to the manufacturer site,
download the drivers for your registered device and
install it.



If you still face the issue, I suggest you to get in touch with the
manufacturer and get the hardware checked once.
