Windows 10: I'm on the Toshiba Satellite, but i can't find out how to open my disc drive.

There is no eject button, the 'push in to open' method doesn't work on it, and there is no online setting or option to open the drive. What do i do?

Kindly try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Locate the eject button near the disc tray. This button is usually directly to the left or right of the disc tray.
• Press the eject button firmly and quickly. The tray should slide open.
• Press the eject button a second time to close the disc tray.

If the above steps doesn't work try the below.

• Open This PC.
• Right click on DVD drive.
• Click on Eject to open the drive.

If this doesn't help, I suggest you to contact Toshiba support for further assistance.

Formatting my hard drive on Toshiba Satellite and reinstalling Windows 10.

I use a Toshiba Satellite and I upgraded to windows 10.

I want to format my hard drive and reinstall windows 10.

How do I go about it?

Will appreciate a step by step procedure bearing in mind I am not a geek.

 

Toshiba Satellite laptop hard drive replacement

I recently replaced my hard drive in my Toshiba Satellite laptop. I was running the Windows 10 upgrade 1809 when my hard drive went out.

I went to a computer shop & bought a Toshiba 500 GB hard drive.

It had a 320 GB Seagate in it before.

My question is . I keep getting kicked off the internet ever since. It's just my laptop. My phone & smart tv stay hooked up. Is it something I did? Or didn't do? I used my Windows 8.1 disc to reinstall Windows. Then I upgraded again to Windows 10 .
