Windows 10: Im on windows 7 64 bit my pc have a problem starting up and it keeps freezing can u please...

It says attempting repairs and keep loading.

Radeon 4850 on Windows XP 64 bit - > black screen/computer freeze

Hello all,

I have a big problem and you my only hope.

I have an ATI Raden 4850, driver version 9.5.
Operating System: Windows XP 64 bit
6gb Corsair Dominator
PSU: Antec 420W

The problem appears when I want to enter in any game. After I double click game icon, the game starts loading, enters in full screen, and after this nothing is going to happen. Only a black screen and my computer is freezed up. I cant Alt+Ctrl+Del, I cant do anything. No sound, no nothing. Only solution is to manual reboot.

First I was suspecting the Game, so I tried with Wolverine, Prototype, Sims3, WOW. None of this worked.

I suspected 64 bit OS and I installed in dual boot win xp 32 bit. All the games are working fine. Again I suspected 64 bit OS and I start searching for problems with 64 bit XP and games. I found many post who confirmed that those games are working fine under XP x64

Another reason for thinking that 64 bit is not the issue here is the fact that the game is starting, but freezing after "post" in black screen.

Also I installed beta version of Windows 7 64 bit. The games are working here.

Therefor my conclusion is that the XP 64 bit drivver has a problem.

Do you have any idea ? Any suggestion would be great.

 

Upgrade install from Win-7 32-bit, to Win-10 64-bit Problems...?

Last November I upgraded from Win-7 32-bit, to Win-10 64-bit.
I have been plagued with weird issues..., that mostly were mostly un-fixable by this forum.

Last Tuesday my Windows Updates were Optional, and they took two days to complete.
Should I have done a Clean Install?

BTW?- I've been thinking about upgrading my desktop MBO/CPU, to something faster...- Any suggestions?
Price isn't a problem!

 

windows 10 pro 64 bit freezes randomly

I have upgraded from windows 7 professional (64 bit) to windows 10 pro 64 bits through windows update. after the installation completed and I started working on windows 10 pro, it started freezing at at any unpredicted moment of time and with every such
freeze it requires a restart (mouse and keyboard stop working). This never happened with my previous windows (windows 7 professional 64 bit).

My system has:

Processor: 2nd Gen Intel Core I 7 (Sandy bridge), speed 3.4 GHz

RAM: 16 GB DDR3, 1333 MHz

Hard disk: 2TB, 7200 RPM

I had to switch back to windows 7 professional twice after full installation of windows 10 pro. Kindly give me a solution to my problem as early as possible.
