Windows 10: I'm only able to use SHIFT+EQUAL combo to produce a plus sign when I run an App as...

My keyboard on screen keyboard and physical keyboard will only produce a + sign when the app I'm typing in "Runs as Administrator". If I simply open the installed app normally the only way I can get a + sign is from the number pad.If I sign into the default Administrator account on my PC I can use a + sign anywhere including within the Operating System.On my current Logged In Microsoft Account - Which is Set as Administrator or my Local Account- Administrator... I can NOT use Shift+Equal to produce a + plus sign in Explorer.If What is going on here? I have also tried in SAFE MODE and st

equal sign not working on my Windows PC...Plus sign prints instead

Hello,

I've attempted all the previously recommended steps, and the equal sign seems to have been removed from my OS?!

If I attempt to type equal, I get the + sign instead

1) I uninstalled the Logitech K120 keyboard [device manager, uninstall HID Keyboard]. Shut Down, Rebooted, Re-installed, same issue

a) tried doing the same, but unplugging the keyboard when it shut down, rebooted, and then plugged in, but it did not solve the issue

2) I installed another keyboard [Logitech Classic 200], but it did not fix the issue.

a) followed same steps as above, uninstall, reboot, connect, no good

3) I loaded the "Virtual Keyboard"... equal sign still not working. When I press on the equal symbol, which is highlighted as "active", it still just prints the + sing.

a) Virtual Keyboard shows the equal sign as highlighted. When I press on Shift Key, it turns Blue, the Plus symbol is now highlighted (bright white), but and obviously is printing the + sign.

It's as if the equal sign just doesn't exist anymore.

Help... was working fine about 2 weeks ago.

 

The equal sign does not work on my keyboard

Whenever I try to press the equal sign, which is close to the backspace key it doesn't type anything. And the key does work properly as when I press Shift plus this key, it gives me a plus sign - +. Whenever I need to use the equal sign, I have to copy
it from somewhere and paste it and I'm getting pretty annoyed by it. Any solutions? Thanks.

I'm experiencing the same issue with shift+m key combination.

This is on an up to date Windows 10 (64bit) with latest version of Microsoft mouse and keyboard center and latest drivers.

I've found that if I press the shift and m keys, then release the shift key while still holding the m key down; then I get a capital 'M' as you would expect. Needless to say this is very annoying and backwards to the way you use the shift plus letter key
combo. This only happens with the M key, all other keys on the keyboard work with the shift key as you would expect them to.

Hoping this is a driver issue that will be resolved in an update, as I really like the keyboard.
