Windows 10: I'm really ruined. One drive wiped out my files.

I am really ruined, microsoft onedrive wiped out my desktop. All my files, invoices and even shortcuts in the start menu. All gone! Why such a company this caliber can do damage? I'm broke and even now ruined... Oh My Goodness. somebody help me.

How to wipe a hard drive

modder I already used kill-disk. The deletion is done, I need to reinstall everything.

 

Just wiped pc of all files and now there’s two drives with windows on it. Old install of windows and other files that stayed on one of the hard drives won’t delete or be wiped when I wipe everything

How did you wipe it down and reinstall? Was it a clean install from the USB flash drive that contains the .iso file? If so, during the step when it asked ou where to install Windows, I assume you didn't delete all of the partitions listed?

Or do you have two phyical drives and you ran a factory reset? If you did, the reset only wipes the system drive, not the other drive.

To help be gain a better understanding of your current disk/partition siuation, can you please right click on the start button, go to Disk Management, and share a screenshot please? Thanks!

I would suggest you to follow the steps below:

  Press Windows key + X.
  
• 
  Click file explorer from the list.
  
• 
  Select the CD/DVD drive and hit Enter.
  
• 
  Select the files you want to copy from the CD/DVD, then select the drive where you want to paste or save.
