I have Windows 10 installed on my 1TB SSD and my personal files on my 4TB HDD. I've put the default folders, such as Music, Pictures, and Documents, on the HDD by changing their path as soon as I finished installing the operating system. The letter assigned to the HDD was then 'E'. Some time later, I changed it to 'D', as I'm more accustomed to it.Now, every time I open my user folder, a warning message pops up https://i.imgur.com/zCa31nY.png.I'd like to know if there is any solution for that and how can I have the stock user folder again.

    :)

Get rid of: Warning: "These files may be harmful to your computer"

Thank you again. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\SmartScreenEnabled is off.
Total Commander sounds like a decent idea. Does it copy & sync between different computers on a LAN?

By the way, I don't think I ever posted the exact error message:

I erased the actual computer name, but it suggests that it's in the Internet Options rather than the Intranet Options. I don't know why that would be.

Ah, my mistake with the \ and /.
Folder now moved as suggested and problem now solved. No idea how this happened.
However.................if I now move a file to the recycle bin and want to restore it back to its original location, I am being prompted with this one now.....

Sorry, I missed you having said that.

Would you please create a text document on your desktop via rightClicking on the desktop then ->New->Text Document.

Then drag it to the bin and let me know whether you get the "These files might be harmful to your computer" warning message.
