Windows 10: I'm running a Full Scan via Microsoft safety scanner , which got stuck at one single file...

Well , This scan is in progress for about 35.18+hrs and it got stuck at one single .exe file. In order to move forward, I've manually deleted that single file. But still the output is the same, which made me think I've made a mistake. I totally can't do the re-run which costed me nearly 2days. The thing, i started to scan is. I've been affected with virus, Trojon, ransomware.bat and few other defender virus. In order to clean up those, i started the scan, but now stuck with this issue. is there anything i can do to finish my task successfully without being wasted my time?

Microsoft safety scanner finds no virus?

Microsoft Scanner works in steps.

So at first stage it will detect what may be an infected file and it will add that to a list. This is the number you see when you see the scanner progressing. These are not actual infections, just suspicious files.

Once the scan is done the safety scanner will match the suspected files with the most recent database of threats and then tell you the actual infections on your system. If the last number is 0 it means no actual infection was found.
