My pc runs on only one of eight cores, and we have a temp fix. However with some games, we cannot go into details and do a quick fix that we learned. We've tried the boot and changing the core, but even still the game lags and stutters. It's not the hardware because most of the parts are new and all are minimum requirements of the games we play. We tried looking around and are unable to find the issues resolution.

    :)

  3. Pentium M

Not sure what I'm looking at. Though when I do go to Options and then CPU it lists my CPU
as Intel Pentium M processor 1.73 GHz, and then under that it lists speed: 799.9 MHz
and then features and cache size.I ran the benchmark test and don't understand all
those numbers, but while testing I checked CPUZ and it still says it is running at 800 MHz.

Windows 10 abnormal CPU core 0 usage

    Hi,

Sorry to know that you had multiple issue with Windows 10 and had to reinstall twice to resolve the issue. I also appreciate the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue. However you can check that CPU performance by knowing what background
services are running to know that follow the steps below.

    • Right click on Taskbar and select Task Manager.
    • Click on Performance Tab and Click on Open resource monitor.
    • Tap or click on CPU tab.

Hope the above information is helpful to know the CPU usage. Do let us know if you need further assistance.

    Thank you.
