Windows 10: Im signed into my acoount but instead of my name popping up it still says aarons where i...

Im logged into my acount but when i start the pc it still pops up with aarons name instead of mine and im not sure exactly how to change it. Ive never had this problem before when i have gotten a new computer. Its driving me insane.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

Convert Microsoft Account to Local account and restart the system and again try to convert Local account to Microsoft account and check if it helps.

• 
  Go to All settings.
  
• 
  Select Accounts.
  
• 
  Sign in with Local account instead and follow the on screen instructions.
  
• 
  And again change it Microsoft account.

Sign in with a Microsoft account instead

I have a Local Account and want to, "Sign in with a Microsoft account instead". I go through all of the required steps including entering my Username and Password. Microsoft accepts everything, then ask me to enter my password one final time. I very carefully enter it exactly as I did before and Microsoft says its not correct. Any help wold be appreciated.

• Is this the only account on the computer?
• Was this account upgraded from previous version of Windows?

It looks like you are using a local account. I suggest you follow these steps:

• Click on search in taskbar and type account.
• Click on Accounts.
• Now, under Your account, click on Sign in with Microsoft account instead.
• Enter your Local account password for confirmation and then follow the screen instruction.
• Enter User name credentials for your the new Microsoft account and click OK.
