    Im stuck at "choose an account to continue," I tried restarting it and they didn't help then I tried unplugging it for 30 min that didn't help I've changed my password but every time I put it in it said password incorrect I don't know what to do I been dealing with this problem for 24 hours, this has happen to me in the past but I simply unplugged it and it worked but it's not working right now. I can't do anything, I'm on the part where they ask you to select an account the blue screen thing it's kinda like when you go to reset your PC but it's not giving me any options.

    Hi Lucas,

    One of the possible reasons why your PC fails to boot into normal mode are broken components on the boot configuration data of your system. To isolate your concern, we suggest that you perform the following steps to trigger
    Safe Mode through the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) option. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • Improper shutdown process
      • Turn on your computer. When the Windows logo is visible, unplug the power source of your computer. Perform this step three times.
      • On the fourth time that you turn on your computer, just simply wait for the
        Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) window to appear.
    • On the Choose an option screen, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings and click
      Restart.
    • Once your computer restarts, you will see a list of options. Press the
      F4
      key to start your computer in Safe Mode.

    We also recommend that you perform a system restore after booting in safe mode.
    This option takes your PC back to an earlier point in time. Restoring won’t affect your personal files, but it will remove apps, drivers, and updates installed after the restore point was made. To do this, follow the steps
    below:

    • In the Search box, type Control Panel and press
      Enter.
    • On the upper-right window, under View
      by, click Category and select
      Large icons.
    • Search Control Panel for Recovery.
    • Select Recovery > Open System Restore > Next.
    • Choose the restore point related to the problematic app, driver, or update, and then select Next > Finish.

    I’m sorry that you are experiencing this issue. Several things, such as incorrect login credentials or broken components on the boot configuration data of your device, could cause this issue.

    Create bootable installation. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/cre... and refer to this link for how to boot into the Recovery environment. Then follow the steps below.

    Run Startup Repair.

    1. Boot Into Windows Recovery Environment.

    2. Next, under Choose an option, click on Troubleshoot.

    3. Next, click on Advanced options.

    4. Click on Startup Repair. Now it will start to diagnose your PC to find issues with the start-up.

    5. Next, select a user account and enter the password.

    6. Click Continue to begin Startup repair. This process may take some time, so wait till it is complete.

    Try to boot into safe mode:

    Turn on your computer. When the Windows logo is visible, press and hold the shutdown bottom. Perform this step three times.

    On the fourth time you turn on your computer, simply wait for the Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) window to appear.

    Select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > Startup Settings on the Choose an option screen and click Restart.

    Once your computer restarts, you will see a list of options. Press the F4 key to start your computer in Safe Mode.

    Stuck at "choose account to continue" after bluescreen

    Hello,

    I got a bluescreen after restarting to install an update, and tryed to boot into safe mode. After booting into safe mode i couldnt log in , because of an error which says that my PIN isn't available so i clicked on the restart Button while holding Shift. Then i tried to delete the last functional update, but i don't remember my password and changing it didn't help either. So i'm stuck at the "choose an account to Continue" screen now without knowing my password and not beeing able to find a way out of It. I would really appreciate some help.
