Preparing Automatic Repair loop

I did a system restore to stop some startup apps from appearing and to keep my pc up to speed. After finishing this I tried to startup a game on my desktop. However the game said that some files were missing. So I restarted my pc but went into the preparing
automatic reapir screen. When I try to do the advanced options it says that I don't have an administrator account. I've been stuck in this loop for a whole day please help if you could.

stuck at "Preparing for the Automatic repair" loop.

Hi,

My laptop ACER ASPIRE V3-772G. is stuck at "Preparing for the Automatic repair" loop. It all happened after an incomplete update which was stuck at 98% and the laptop went unresponsive. I uninstalled the updates and system restore to a previous best point using F12. Upon contacting Acer support they advised me to use alt+F10. Even that didn't help.

Any advice is much appreciated.
