Windows 10: I'm trying to completely reset my computer, wiping everything, but an error shows up. How...

I'm having a bit of trouble trying to reset my computer. All I want to do is completely wipe the computer and start fresh. The problem is, when I tried to remove everything, an error popped up saying "There was a problem resetting your PC No changes were made." I've looked up the reasoning to this and most of what I saw was that there is probably a corrupted file somewhere, but I have no idea what is corrupted. The ways I have tried to fix this problem was by using the command Prompt and typing the DISM command along with the SFC command, neither have worked. I also don't have another computer

Can you list what tasks/steps you've done thus far in your attempt to resolve it?

Have you logged off your profile (if using Sync) and done a complete wipe of the browser?

How about uninstall and then wipe any remaining data?

Do you have another device you can sort on that it works fine or you could test with?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
