Windows 10: I'm trying to display the structure of your file system directory

Directory Structure

I really hate the windows directory structure. It is so confusing due to being able to access files under several folder names. I would like a simple file structure with no shortcuts and starts with C: drive. Then everything falles under c:. Allow the
user to set up any shortcuts they may want.

Is there any third party software to do what I want?

Second of all, it's so nice to see that this section ain't dead.

I have a few questions/suggestions, maybe you'd want to see ...

• maybe you rename Get Folder button caption to something more intuitive? Add Folder, Get Folder Size, Check Folder Size or something like that?
  
• Could you add subfolder files to the right pane? (it can be a tickbox with include sub dirs)
  
• maybe you also add export list to excel?
  
• there's delete file button maybe you add delete folder button too?
  
• and finally maybe you can add UP button for directories?

 

Directory Structure

I have read the exchange gerzyt/sam around 20th May 2016 regarding seemingly duplicated directories. I have hit the same problem OneDrive unintentionally being installed. I have since un installed it!

In Explorer I have a Directory structure This PC\Documents; This PC\Pictures etc. I have ALSO ended up with OS(C\Users\paulr\OneDrive\Documents.....\Pictures etc.

My question is, are the files that are stored in the sub directories of This PC\Documents and the ..\...\OneDrive\Documents the same? i.e do they POINT to the same files or are they copies stored seperately.

Essentially if I DELETE the files in the OneDrive subdirectories will they ALSO disappear from the This PC directories?? How do I "clean out" safely the OneDrive Directory?
