Windows 10: I'm trying to erase windows movie maker?

I'm trying to erase windows movie maker from my old Windows XP and it won't delete. I've deleted the files for it but the folder says the program is being used but it's not. The files aren't even in the computer anymore. Why does it still say the program is a Windows movie maker program? I know this is an old operating system but it works and I would like to continue using this machine..... Also I'm not trying to be that guy but you guys need to go back to the old school. You had an amazing operating system with windows XP and no offense EVERY single operating system since that you've released

• Type appwiz.cpl in the search box and hit Enter.
• Right click Windows Essentials 2012 and select repair.

As you are facing issue with Windows Movie Maker, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to repair Windows Movie Maker and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key, type Control Panel
  and select the same from the list.
• Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
• Locate Windows Live Essential then click
  Uninstall/Change.
