Does anyone know how to stop the message make sure one drive is running? I currently cannot open most attachments

When I try to open an attachment in edge, I get a blank page

Windows 10 Upgrade - Can't open Office File Attachments directly from Email

After upgrade, I can no longer open any office file (Word, Excel, etc.) directly from an email that was sent to me with an attachment. I use Outlook for email. I get the following message:

Word experience an error trying to open the file.

Try these suggestions:

*Check the file permissions for the document or drive.

*Make sure there is sufficient free memory and disk-space.

*Open the title with the Text Recovery Converter.

If I save the file to my drive, I can open it in the applicable office application. This is a pain and causes multiple steps because I don't want most of these files saved.

Ideas?
