    I'm trying to remove the interal speaker from my old, optiplex tower.


    I removed it from my motherboard, so there is no longer any more hardware, but the option for it as an audio output still exists. I've tried removing the drivers for it, but it comes back every time I restart my pc. I have also tried disabling as a device in the sounds section of control panel which also didn't work. Please help!

    can i install small USB external speakers on my tower
