Windows 10: I'm trying to reset my laptop but it automatically undo changes

I've already tried resetting from trobleshoot menu and even tried to do a clean installation of windows 10 from windows 11

:)

 

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Undo the changes made automatically in Windows media player libraries

I understand it can be frustrating when the music files info changes automatically on Windows media player. However, we cannot undo the changes made, but we have a work around which can be used to fix the issue.



I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if that helps.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type wmplayer and hit enter.
   
3. Now click on the Organize tab and select
   Options.
   
4. Now select the Library tab.
   
5. Under Automatic media information updates for files uncheck the box
   Retrieve additional information from the Internet.
   
6. Click on Apply and OK.
   

After unchecking the option the information for the music files will not be changed automatically.



However, for the files whose media information has already been changed, you can edit the information manually by following the steps mentioned below.

1. Press Windows key + R. This will open
   Run. Alternatively, you can go to Start and search for Run.
   
2. In Run dialog box, type wmplayer and hit enter.
   
3. Right click on the album or music file and click on
   Find album info.
   
4. On the Find album information window, click
   Edit under Existing Information.
   
5. Edit the information which was changed automatically.
   
6. Click on Done.

Why does my windows 11 keep undoing changes?

I am trying to reset my entire laptop but it won’t allow me as it keeps undoing changes. I am trying to do a clean reset my entire laptop since I permanently deleted my windows files, but every times I try it keeps undoing changes. Another thing to note is that I cannot leave the automatic repairing screen, it’s stuck on my screen, even when I restart/shut down my laptop; when I just open my laptop it’s already on my screen.
