Windows 10: I'm trying to set secure boot on Asus prime b450m-a II motherboard to be able to use Win 11.

Hello, i've been trying to get windows 11 on my pc for a while now but i can't seem to get it done. worked out the tpm but the secure boot is working against me.. im not the best with computers and watched multiple vids that suppose to give the solution, but keeps saying its not supported. please help me :

I'm trying to set secure boot on Asus b450m-a motherboard to be able to use Win 11. I have tried various combinations of CSM settings and Secure Boot settings but haven't been able to achieve it. The PC Health App tells me that TPM 2 is enabled but Secure Boot isn't. Can anybody help please.?

I would be most grateful if you could please help me with another Win 11 issue.

My daughter has a machine which has an AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 3.5 GHz processor on an Asus Prime B350-Plus motherboard.

She would like to download Win 11.

I have set the bios to enable secure boot and TPM but the diagnostic software reports the processor is not on Microsoft's

list of acceptable processors. Will we need to upgrade the processor and possibly the motherboard too?

Microsoft were testing and adding some more processors, and did add some to the list, they indicate they have now completed testing, and no more processors will be added to the official list.

That processor is strong enough for Windows 11, even though it is not supported, it is possible to install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor using the Windows 11 ISO, I have Windows 11 installed on an unsupported Core i7 7700QH processor and Windows 11 runs very smoothly, however Microsoft advise you do not do that, they will not be liable for any problems caused by doing that and also you would not receive Windows 11 updates, however, everyone that has installed Windows 11 on an unsupported processor is still receiving updates.

The only other option would be to upgrade the motherboard and processor.
