Windows 10: I'm trying to update Whatsapp on Microsoft Store and it is just spinning

I was told me Whatsapp application needed to be updated. However, I tried to run the update in the store and it just spins as pending. It has now been stuck doing that for days and I cannot move forward or change anything.

Please follow the steps properly your problem will be solved

1.Download my app "Whatsapp Launcher for Nokia x" from Nokia store.

• Download Latest version of Whatsapp from
  
  http://www.whatsapp.com/android/

• Install Whatsapp you downloaded in step 1 , Complete your Whatsapp login as there will be no error until you login

4. After login complete your Whatsapp will start to show error "DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED"



5. Open app "Whatsapp Launcher for Nokia x" and there will be no error to open Whatsapp have fun.

 

Microsoft Store Won't Load and is Spinning Indefinitely

My previous steps must have done something, because I decided to just let the Store sit and spin while minimized. I guess it eventually loaded.

I did not end up trying your steps, but an in-place upgrade to fix the Microsoft Store loading seems extreme, but I guess that's where I was at. MS Store is just a really clunky application.

Do let us know the exact issue you are facing in accessing the Windows Store?

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.
