Windows 10: I'm unable to get sound out of my Windows 8.1 pc. Please help!

I'm unable to get sound out of my Windows 8.1 pc. It detected a problem with my ProFx driver...but then, was unable to fix it. I checked all the usual suspects soundcard settings, soundcard assignments, audio levels, etc with no luck. Specifically, I use Adobe Audition to record and play audio. It still records in Adobe, but I can't hear playback any more. Please help!
