Remove account

I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

I already did the bkmks by the 4 steps in your previous post. Method 2 (export/import) which does not say a thing about "hidden files"....method 1 backup/restore does mention it. ....very confusing. I have a desktop icon for the bookmks (just hope it's not empty, an 'icon' only)

The "How to Completely Uninstall How-To"....about chrome....says to use the control panel....and says to enable hidden files view....and your previous post says 'see step 3'.....but the how-to says the step 2/hidden files thing must be done before doing step 3.....seeing why Im so confused?

So....I think the bookmks are sitting in the desktop icon (...?). Now I'll do the geek uninstaller and try removing chrome....or is there a 'but first'...? Dont understand a thing about 'hidden file extensions' or 'manual removing of leftovers'.

 

How can I remove this virus remnant?

I was also going to suggest Autoruns.

Check to make sure it isn't attaching itself to explorer. It should be the 3rd thing listed in Autoruns, the listing for the Shell. It should just be Explorer.exe. If it is anything else, that might be your problem.
