someone is Remote Desktop into my computer without a trace. I woke up in the morning one time and my laptop pass code was changed, and I couldn’t get back into it at all. How can I stop this remote untraceable person from getting into my stuff and going through and changing the loud apps and features to communicate through the firewall right now but I don’t know exactly how to for sure keep them out of not only just my computer, but my laptop, my desktop, my iPhone everything it seems like. I had to have the operating system reinstalled on my laptop my desktop and had to reset factory data res

I want to disable touchpad on Dell laptop

    Hello everyone,
My laptop's touchpad works and I don't want it to, because I prefer a mouse. It's a Dell Inspiron 11 3000 series on windows 10 OS.

What I have tried that hasn't worked:
    • start<settings<devices<mouse & touchpad<additional mouse options. This opens a window called Mouse Options which has 5 tabs up top, none of which involve the touchpad. The Hardware tab shows 2 devices: the mouse itself, and the USB. No touchpad there.
    • windows key+x<mobility center. No touchpad to be found.
    • various function keys. No options for touchpad on/off.
    • device manager<mice and other pointing devices. Again, only the mouse and usb show up. It appears the touchpad is working without a driver, which is a little spooky.
Any other suggestions? I could try downloading a third party driver, but that seems like a step in the wrong direction.
    Thanks

  3. Mouse and keyword stop working at the same time in Windows 11.

    Dear All,

Mouse and keyword stop working at the same time in Windows 11. Once when it happened uninstallation of Antivirus was stopped. I have read many articles on the internet but they have not solved the problem. Some of them are listed below:

    1. How to Fix Mouse Not Working in Windows 11.
    2. Mouse and Keyboard not Working in Windows 11 [8 Fixes].
I contacted a technician in Microsoft but he cannot solve the problem. I have a feeling that the problem is caused by cyberattacks because they happen usually in the daytime and not in the nighttime. I ran my computer without connecting to the internet and the problem did not happen. Please suggest how can I solve the problem. You are welcome to send me an email to the address: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***.

    Sincerely,

    Mark

I’m working on my windows 11 home laptop when my mouse is taken over. I have an intruder...

    Burgled -- New laptop taken

It was last week and I'm still quite upset over this. Recently got a Sony Vaio and it was not even 3 weeks old when it was taken.

Are there any experts out there who can, with details of MAC address, etc., trace the location of the laptop (therefore, also the low life burglar)?

I mean what is the fate of stolen laptops besides the obvious sale.

The laptop runs on Windows 7 (64-bit) and is requires a passphrase at the logon screen. What are the first few steps to take before making the loot saleable?

ps. my passport was also taken. Seriously!?!! What good is it to the burglar?!
