Windows 10: Image Composite Editor

Hi, I am having trouble getting the Microsoft Image Composite Editor software to run, I have installed it and uninstalled it several times, the circular cursor shows for a couple of seconds then nothing. It's on Windows 10 laptop. It runs fine on my Windows 10 pc. Any suggestions?

I still get the same message when I attempt to download the 64 bit version: "

We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found."

Good afternoon, folks.

I have been postponing my installation of Windows 10 for many months now, mainly as I still can’t find a version of the “Microsoft Image Composite Editor” which would work on W10.

As I love taking panorama shots I had tried and used many programs in the past already, but of all free software for use on a PC your Image Composite Editor surely stands out for its results.

I did a trial installation of Win10 onto an old SSD, but I couldn’t find any version/update of “Image Composite Editor” or similar good software which would work on Win10. Is there a new version of "Image Composite Editor" in the making or will I have
to continue with my Win7 to enjoy all its great features? If there isn’t any good free new Microsoft software for panorama shots, could you please tell me of alternative free software with similar qualities??! Thanks in advance, Giorgio
