    I made an image restore of C: and D: before I sent my computer in for a warranty-covered repair. I have a 1TB SSD that I use as C:, a 256GB SSD Y: that I use for extra games, and a 1TB HD that I use for Data D:. When I sent it away, I took out my boot drive, because I had installed it myself and I didn't want it to be confusing if they decided it was unrepairable and refunded me for the laptop. So when they were working on it, they formatted my 1TB HD and made it the boot drive. Why they didn't do the 256 SSD is beyond me, that was the boot drive when I first got it. So I went to restore m

    Free hard drive backup/restore program?

    I am looking for a free (freeware) program that will back up and restore a hard drive. I'm looking to clone a few external hard drives. If the program will backup the used space instead of the whole drive this will be awesome! Thanks for any suggestions.

    Obviously you're looking for something besides your Xp Pro utility that does this?
