Windows 10: image shift with Photos

I keep digital photo .JPG images on an external drive. I am using the Photos application that came with my W10 desktop.


In the past few months when I open an image in a folder it initially opens slightly left of center, then it quickly centers itself properly when viewing with Photos. The same thing happens to images in the same folder that I scroll through using the Next arrow.


Any ideas on how to have the image open properly centered, and what may have caused this change? Thank you

Windows 10 default image viewer

I suggest you to follow the below steps in order to change the default image viewer to Paint.

• In search,
• Type Default Programs.
• Check whether Windows Photo Viewer is listed in the list.
• Left click on the photo viewer and select the option paint.
