Windows 10: Image Shortcuts in OneDrive not displaying image

When creating a shortcut of a jpg file like "test.jpg" that exists in a local folder like c:\temp, then the shortcut shows the image as thumbnail a smaller image representing the original image. This is fine.When this "test.jpg" is copied to a OneDrive folder and a shortcut is created in this folder, then the shortcut doesn't show the image as thumbnail.Why is this behavior different between shortcuts on OneDrive and local disks? How can be forced that shortcuts to image files on OneDrive, will show thumbnails? Thank you!

[HELP]Image recovery issues

Guys i am trying to fix my cousins Asus Eee netbook. It has a backup image file that is partitioned on the hard drive but when I go to use it the app will run through a few steps and stop. It is running Vista . Any suggestions?

 

OneDrive images not showing in forums

Hi Damian,

To address your concern, we tried to replicate the issue. We also tried doing the same thing as you did uploading the image link from OneDrive and adding it to a forum for the image tag. Currently, OneDrive cannot host the direct link of the image to work
in certain forums. You will need the direct link of the image, which ends with .jpg format when adding it as image tag for it to work. (Please see screenshots below for the work around)

• If the logo can be searched on the web, do so. Click on the logo then click
  View Image.

• This will open another tab, and you will be able to get the direct link of the image. This link is accepted when trying to add an image tag.

Two Different Screen Images

Hi Georgia,

There are several ways to set up your dual monitor. It can be by keyboard shortcut or by Screen Resolution menu. To isolate your issue, kindly answer the following questions:

• Are you trying to use a dual monitor?
• What specific task are you trying to do on each monitor?

In the meantime to we suggest that you follow these methods to set up a dual monitor.

Method 1: By keyboard shortcut.

• Press Windows + P in your keyboard.
• Select Extend.

Method 2: By Screen Resolution menu.

• Right-click any empty area of your desktop, and then click Display Settings.
• Click the Multiple displays drop-down list, and then select
  Extend these displays, or Duplicate these displays.
• Click Apply. Note If you cannot see the additional monitor(s) listed, click
  Detect. If does not work, try restarting your computer and do step 1 to 2 again.
