  1. Images desaturated after saving?

I've recently gotten a new monitor PG32UCDM , and I can't tell if it's just something I never noticed on my older, less color accurate monitor or a new problem that just started today, but whenever I save a picture whether its a PNG or JPEG the colors are *always* desaturated after I open them. You can see it clearly in this screenshot, where the thumbnail color is correct but the actual image when opened is washed out. For my work as a video editor this is a huge problem, as images loaded into and out of premiere and photoshop are all the wrong colors and it has completely ruined my workfl

All images desaturated when opened in any application... How do I fix this?

I've been working in Autodesk Maya and rendering scenes with Arnold and recently noticed that the saved rendered image files are all desaturated. Not only that, but I've found that every other image I open with the photos app has been desaturated. This has happened with both .jpg and .png files.

There is a period of a few frames upon first opening any image in which the color saturation is correct before becoming desaturated. If I go into the editing mode from the photos app, the color is correct. However, if I open my images in Photoshop, I see that they are still desaturated.

I am completely lost regarding this issue. I am running Windows 10 and have not had this issue until today. I'm wondering if there was a recent update that has messed with the way that color correction operates or how image files are handled. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Images desaturated after saving?

    Desaturate the task bar icons??

I am going for a totally desaturated, grey, look for my desktop. I've got that as far as I can take it, but, I can't figure out how I can desaturate the icons on the task bar. I can not stand having the task bar automatically hide itself, so I'm stuck.
Hopefully I can get some help here. Here's a screen shot to show what I mean.
