Windows 10: Images on files and recycle bin are shown as photo icons not the actual image. Is there a...

When I delete an image on PC it goes to recylce bin. But when I go to the recycle bin, it does not show which image I deleted. It just shows a photo icon so I do not know which image have been deleted. This also occurs with normal pictures on files - I do not know what the image is without clicking on it. Is there a way for me to see the actual imag instead of the icon without restoring the image? I will instert an image to show what it looks like to me.

To prevent your files from being deleted from the Recycle Bin, we suggest increasing the maximum file size your Recycle Bin can keep by following the steps below:

• Right click on the Recycle Bin icon.
• Under the Settings for selected location, select Custom size.
• Fill up the box for your allotted maximum file size for your Recycle Bin.

Images not shown in Windows Explorer (except in Recycle Bin)

I have followed all instructions and still have problem. It's not that my thumbnails are not working or messed up; they were working fine (I don't mind re-building from scratch).

I will try to be more specific with the problem:

Why I am unable to view/rename/delete those images with the name:

AlbumArt {12345678910}_Small / Large.jpg

in the Music folder (or any other location) &
only shown in the Recycle Bin?

Why can the Recycle Bin show these image files &
not outside it?

These images are either 75x75 or 200x200 when compared with VisiPics and is
clearly visible with the command prompt.

That's 2 different programs that are displaying the images existence of these image files.

I have noticed that majority of the AlbumArt.jpg files are archived; could this be a reason?

 

Missing desktop icons and recycle bin

No problems on the current Windows 10 on three computers I have running dual screens. Desktop Icons only appear on the primary screen.

All icons including the Recycle Bin not showing. The Recycle Bin could be the cause.

There was a bug / glitch during the Insider Preview builds that would flash up a message saying the Recycle Bin was corrupted or missing.

It seems that the Recycle Bin attempts to build a list of recycled files on all the drives on the computer. If the recycled files id is out of sync, that caused the bin to fail.

Suggest:

Copy some files; then delete them; then reboot and see if the Recycle Bin appears.
