  1. Immense Windows 10 Lag

Ever since somewhere between 25m-1h from the time of posting this question, my computer has been experiencing huge amounts of lag for no reason. I have restarted 3 times at this point and deleted large games, but this has worked to no avail. Below I will list information that may be helpful to determine what I should do.Task manager picture as of the time of posting See bottomNote that when booting up task manager, for a split second it says 92% on CPU, and it changes to somewhere between 6-19% and keeps rapidly changing when I click off task manager between those 2 values. Random lag spikes

    Hi,

We would like to know more about your lag issue:

    • What browser are you using when you experience a lag?
    • Does the lag occur in a particular game?

In the meantime, we suggest you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter. Here are the steps:

    • Press Windows Key + X.
    • Click on Control Panel.
    • Select Troubleshooting.
    • On the left pane, click on View All.
    • Click on System Maintenance to run the troubleshooter.

    Looking forward to your response.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
