Windows 10: Implement multiple rows of tabs

In chrome, file explorer, etc, I would love to see multiple rows of tabs implemented, which would be an awesome feature for organisation.Maybe I have a row dedicated to work, then for gaming, then for news, and another for misc. And instead of using 4 cumbersome windows I just have 1 organised windowSame would be lovely for file explorer, where you'd likewise be able to have different rows for different purposes to keep everything neat. A very handy tool for more 'power users' or perhaps moreso 'unorganised users' like myselfAnd hopefully the tabs would of course be "rich". You could drag and

the top row is not working

To better understand your query, please reply:

1. What do you mean by "top row not working" not working? Are you referring to keyboard top row keys?

I would suggest you to go to the safe mode and see if the problem persists.

To go to Safe mode follow the steps below:

• 
  Click on Windows key, and in the Power Options click on Restart while pressing the shift key.
  
• 
  A blue screen will appear with a few options.
  
  Click on Troubleshoot > Advanced Settings > Startup Settings > Restart.
  
• 
  Your system will automatically restart, press 4 or F4 key to go to the Safe Mode.

May I ask, what exactly does such a routine have in mind - why look at tabs 1, then 2, then quickly close the app?

 

Combine multiple CSV files by column, not by row

I have ~100 CSV files that I want to combine into one single Excel spreadsheet (everything in one tab, not in separate tabs). These CSV files are identical in format: each contains 4,000 rows and 2 columns with header, about 60 KB in size.

All solutions I've found so far append the next CSV at the end of the last row of the active tab. I haven't seen one that can append new CSVs to the columns immediate to the right of last column.

Here're some examples.

1. DOS copy method: copy *.csv merge.txt
   
2. This solution. (VBA script.)
   
3. Using Excel's Data>New Query>From File>From Folder (Excel 2013) .
   

There are also examples with Windows Powershell scripts to merge CSV files on the internet.

All of the above create a single Excel spreadsheet with about 400,000 rows of data, which is useless to me.

I'd appreciate suggestions to solve this problem. Thanks!

Edit. An easy solution is found: using r's cbind() to combine the data in a data frame and then write it to a csv. The entire process took ~3 seconds. Right tool for the job!
