Windows 10: Implementing Device Interface for PCIe Config Read/Write in Non-PnP Driver

I am currently working on a non-PnP driver where I need to replace the legacy HalGetBusDataByOffset API with GetBusData. In this context, is it possible to create a device interface using WdfDeviceCreateDeviceInterface and utilize this interface for PCIE config read and write operations? If so, what are the steps involved in setting up the device interface and ensuring proper communication for data transactions? Also Need to know is device Interface Creation is possible for non-PNP driver

'Generic PnP monitor' issue

Hello Angelica,

I would suggest you follow steps to update the monitor driver:

Press Windows + X keys

Choose Device manager

Click on Monitors

Right click on ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and click on update driver

Tap on Browse my computer for driver software

Tap on Let me pick from a list of available drivers

Choose ‘Generic PnP monitor’ and tap on Next

When you are done please restart the computer.

 

Windows XP asking me to install Driver for PnP Devices?

Any idea's???

To restate the problem, all my PnP "driver free" devices for xp are prompting the Add Hardware dialog...rather than automatically install the device.
