Windows 10: import photos from camera

Discus and support import photos from camera in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; I can't seem to figure out why the folder where the photos are is what opens up when I plug in a usb camera and not the photo app. I have autoplay...     I can't seem to figure out why the folder where the photos are is what opens up when I plug in a usb camera and not the photo app. I have autoplay enabled and photo as my default photo viewer.

    Import Photos using Windows 10

    I discovered how to import photos from my camera to my hard drive by opening the photo gallery and

    clicking on the upper left side of the screen where it reads "import" Then the system recognizes whatever

    camera you have connected at the time, and by clicking on the camera shown on the screen, you can import

    your photos.

    Windows 10 default photo app.

    When importing photos from camera the app recognises new photos but the final import button is not showing.

    Try to type AutoPlay settings in the taskbar's search box and open that tool. You should see an entry for each of your devices, where you can associate an auto play handler.
