Windows 10: Important documents disappeared from one drive. have I been hacked?

Following a call to Microsoft who were unable to help me and reorientated me to this page, I have just discovered that all my documents saved to one drive under letters A and B have disappeared see belowThese include important files for my tax declarations, insurances etc.For the past 2 weeks, I have been receiving sms messages from my bank asking me to authorise payments for different online games.The bank cancelled the bank card in question and now I am receiving the same sms messages associated to a new card.I am very worried that my one drive account has been hacked. How to burn a document to a cd in windows 10

To assist you better, answer the below questions

• Are you facing any difficulties to burn a document to a cd?
• Are you using any third party tool to burn a document to a cd?

I suggest you to follow below steps to burn cd and check if it helps.

• Insert CD/DVD.
• Open the CD/DVD drive in File explorer
  icon from the taskbar, copy and paste the required document to the
  CD/DVD drive.
• Click on Burn a Disc.
• Follow on the on screen instruction.

Here's mine after I rt clk'd on my Documents Folder like you show in Scrsht 11:




I'd like to wait until you reply to my question in Scrsht 12, if it is a remnant of the process try deleting the one on the dsktp and see if the one in send to also disappears. If it stays in send to, test it, and if you're still having problems I'd suggest you could go back to: Option One: To Add or Remove Items in Send To context menu for Your Account (current user) and do Step 3 to remove it and start over using Step 4 but be very careful of your steps in creating the shortcut and be sure you d&d that shortcut to the send to part of the address.

Email Hacked

thank you for your response and the great information you provided.

I use two step authentication for my email account and all important web sites. I also use the full version of Malwarebytes to protect my computer.

But I will do the scans you suggested AdwCleaner and Limewire.com and let you know the results.

I am worried though that the webcam installed on my laptop could have been hacked. I never use it and forgot about it, so never disabled it.

Any suggestions as to find if it was actually hacked?
