    Importing Mini DV Movies to Windows 10 Computer


    I have a number of home movies that I filmed on a Sony Mini DV camera (DCR-TRV20). I would like to import them all to my HP Spectre running on Windows 10. However, Windows 10 does not recognize this device when connected by USB cable and I cannot locate any drivers online that may resolve this issue. Would appreciate your help.

    Import mini DV tapes into Windows 10 Movie Maker

    I am a novice!!

    Trying to import video from an old Panasonic Vid camera using mini DV tapes into Windows 10 Movie Maker (MM). When I click 'import video' in MM I get a message saying, 'the video device is currently in use. Close any other programs and try again'. The thing
    is, the video device is not in use. I've tried turning off and back on again but I have the same result. I'm getting nowhere, can anyone help please?

    Samsung Mini DV SC-D6550 Camcorder Driver for Windows 10

    Does anyone know if there is a driver available for Windows 10 to recognized my Samsung Mini DV SC-D6550 Camcorder?

    I went to Samsung's website & downloaded the codec & driver for it but I can't get it to work on my new laptop with Windows 10

    Any suggestions?

    Panasonic cameras require the FireWire driver to work properly on your device. To better understand your concern, we'd like to know the following:

    • The System type and version of Windows 10 that you're using on your device. To check this, you can perform the steps posted on this
