Windows 10: Importing to Outlook Ignore Duplicates

I want to import google contacts csv into outook contacts.I already have a contact list in outlook.Will outlook ignore duplicates and only import contacts not in the list?James

I'm sitting here in the office, its the end of the year in the school system, and several employees transferring to alternative counties. With this it brings loads of transferring contacts to take with them from their company phone. Well, this one in particular sparked a guide idea. So here it is, How to transfer Outlook contacts to your Gmail account.


Step 1: Sign in to your outlook account.
step 2 In the top left hand corner click File > Import/Export > Export to file > Browse to desired place to save your file > export. Be sure you export the file as .csv (comma separated values)
Step 3 Log into your Gmail account
Step 4 Select 'Contacts' In the subsection you will see a 'Import' button on the right-hand side. Click it.
Step 5 Browse to the location where you saved it > Open it > Click Import.



I would have provided pictures, but I use neither Outlook or Gmail. Hope someone somewhere gets some use from this. *Toast :toast:

Yes, I agree with @MaloK : can also recommend Mapilab Duplicate Email remover. No doubt other tools may offer similar features, but this one I know to work fine and has a user friendly interface.
When running it provides a list of duplicates, the duplicates are 'strike-through'.

Note, it searches for exact duplicates.
In the past I vainly tried to search for duplicate forum notifications, like the ones from Tenforums.
They are basically only informing that something has been updated. In case of the same subject, all contents look the same, the text is the same, subject, etc.
Even when unchecking data-time compare they are -not- marked as duplicates.... Even though, as said, at first sight, there are no differences. Then again, no other tool will mark such notifications as duplicate.

Alternatively you may wish to have a look at Reliefjet Essential, bundling a number of other tools.
It could be an 'overkill' when only removing duplicates is required.

No. Also I followed the steps on Manage suggested recipients in the To, Cc, and Bcc boxes with Auto-Complete

cleared this list (Empty Auto-Complete List.)
disabled the option ("Use Autocomplete list..") and again cleared the list
relaunched Outlook in between
still those very old email addresses show up.

I give up.
